Ticketmaster has canceled approximately 50,000 tickets for Oasis’s 2025 reunion tour, citing violations of purchase terms. The promoters, Live Nation and SJM, identified that these tickets were acquired using prohibited methods, such as purchasing more than the allowed four tickets per household, employing multiple identities, and utilizing VPN services and multiple credit cards. Many of these tickets subsequently appeared on unauthorized resale platforms like Viagogo and StubHub at inflated prices. Affected fans, including Leighah Conroy from Cumbria and Marta Bonnet from Spain, expressed distress over the cancellations, having incurred significant expenses for travel and accommodations. Ticketmaster has advised those impacted to complete a form for the tour’s promoters to review the cancellations. The company is also under investigation by the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority concerning its dynamic pricing practices and the sale of Oasis tickets.
