teckel: Compliance Documentation Assistant

Compliance fills your clipboards, not your day

teckel builds agentic AI that streamlines the preparation of regulatory compliance documentation for any industry. Our launch use case is UK dental practices, so the examples on this page are dental — the approach is the same wherever regulated paperwork has to be filled in, signed and evidenced.

Every dental practice in the UK runs on paperwork. Crown-consent forms. Sedation risk assessments. Daily cleaning logs. Patient feedback surveys. Radiation protection registers. Incident reports. Each form has its own quirks; each one needs a signature, a date, and an audit trail.

Practices that try to keep up either lose clinical time to admin or — far more often — sign off rows in batches at the end of the week. CQC inspectors notice.

The existing software helps only a little. Most of it asks staff to switch contexts, look at screens, and click through menus. The mental load comes back to bite practices when one form gets missed.

teckel is voice. It listens, fills, signs, sends.

teckel runs a single voice assistant — Benedict — that knows your practice's full compliance form library by heart. You speak; Benedict captures answers exactly as you give them, opens the form on screen whenever you ask, so you can check what's been filled, and submits a permanent, audit-grade copy to whichever email you specify.

Under five minutes with Steve and Yusuf: why we built Benedict, and what it looks like when compliance paperwork gets done by talking.

What teckel does

Voice-first, hands-free
Speak naturally — no menus, no clicking, no typing required. Benedict handles natural phrasing including batched answers, corrections, and pauses.
A library of compliance forms
Crown consents, sedation risk assessments, cleaning specs, patient surveys, incident reports, radiation protection — the CQC and NHS standards for UK dental practices are already loaded. Custom forms, including for other regulated industries, are added on request.
Tamper-evident audit trail
Every submitted form is rendered to PDF, encrypted, pinned to permanent decentralised storage (IPFS), and assigned a unique content hash you can produce on inspection demand.
GDPR-friendly by default
Patient-identifying fields can be left blank — the system distinguishes "needed for compliance" from "needed for identity". You choose what to record.
Pay only for what you use
No per-seat fees. No subscriptions. Pay-as-you-go teckel credits (tc), bought through the teckel App. A typical form session costs about £2.50.

What you get

Time saved → more patient time
A checklist that takes 10 minutes on paper is done in about two and a half minutes, hands-free — most of the admin time back on every form your practice fills.
Better audit trail → fewer compliance failures
Every form is timestamped at the moment it's completed. No batched-end-of-week sign-offs. Inspectors get content-hashed PDFs they can verify cryptographically. Your CQC rating stops being a clipboard gamble.
Lower cost → no per-seat lock-in
Pay only for what you use. No per-staff licence to manage. Practice managers see what each session cost as soon as it ends. Top up only when needed.

How it works

  1. Open your practice's teckel page in any browser. Allow microphone.
  2. Tell Benedict what form you need — "open the crown consent".
  3. Speak the answers. Confirm. Submit. Done.

What customers say

"We went from spending 30 minutes a day on compliance paperwork to about 8. The auditors loved the timestamped trail. The clinicians loved the hands-free."

— Dr Sabina Nasir, Delapre Dental Care, Northampton

Compliance and security

GDPR. PII fields are optional on every form. Patient identifiers are stored only when you explicitly choose to record them.

Tamper-evident. Submitted PDFs are encrypted and pinned to IPFS — a decentralised content-addressed storage network. Each submission has a cryptographic hash; producing the same hash from a modified document is mathematically impossible.

CQC-aligned. For UK dental practices, forms are organised by CQC fundamental standard. Updated as standards change.

Encrypted in transit and at rest. All client-server communication uses HTTPS and all data is stored with encryption.

Pay only for what you use

No subscriptions. No per-seat fees. No licence fee. A typical compliance form costs about £2.50 to complete and submit — you pay only for the forms you actually do. Top up your teckel account through the teckel App (Google Play / Apple App Store) only when you need to.
