teckel: E‑mail Preferences
Choose the e-mail you get from teckel
This page controls two kinds of e-mail: marketing and general updates from teckel, and the notifications your Benedict sends — the low-balance warning and the transcript e-mails. Choices are made per e-mail address. One address can cover several Benedict accounts, so the page shows every account that uses it and lets you choose for each.
Two ways in. Arrived from the link inside one of Benedict’s e-mails? Your address is already verified and your choices open below. Otherwise, enter the address: marketing stops straight away, and if the address is on file we e-mail you a link, valid for 30 minutes, that opens the full set of choices — including switching things back on.
Messages you specifically ask for — a booking confirmation, an access code, a link you request from Benedict, a receipt, a reply to a question you send us — are not optional, because they are the service you asked for.
Enter the address our e-mails arrive at. Marketing and general updates stop straight away; if the address is on file we also e-mail you a link that opens the full set of choices.

What happens next
- Marketing choices are recorded the moment you save them; our CRM and the newsletter list follow within a few minutes. Switching a marketing category back on counts as a fresh consent, with the date and the wording you saw.
- Benedict notification choices are applied straight away, per account, and the confirmation lists exactly what was applied. If a change cannot be applied, the page says so and asks you to try again.
- We keep the address on our records only so that we do not e-mail it by mistake, together with a record of each change — what, when and through which link — as the law asks of us.
- Newsletter readers can also use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter; both routes reach the same list.
- Changed your mind? Come back through the link inside any Benedict e-mail, or enter your address above for a fresh link.
