Who it is for

Introduce Benedict to the practices you already know. They get bonus credit in your offer window; you get a share — or pass the whole benefit to your members.

If you already talk to dental practices — as a multi-practice operator, a software or services company, a compliance consultant or trainer, an accountant, a supplier, or a professional association — you can give them a code that, in its offer window, makes their first purchase of teckel credits go further. There is no cost to join and nothing to install.

How it works

1. Apply below. We review every application personally and reply from teckel.io, usually within one working day.
2. Sign the agreement. If we approve you, we e-mail you the affiliate agreement to sign electronically, with the code we will issue and its offer window. Your code goes live once you have signed and sent us your postal address and the e-mail address of a PayPal account in your name.
3. Share your code. A practice enters it once as its referral code, in the teckel App when it creates its Benedict, and before its first purchase of tc: a code entered after that purchase does not count. That is all the practice has to do.
4. Everyone benefits. A practice that enters your code while the code’s offer window is open gets 20% extra tc (teckel credits) on its first purchase. That is one bonus per practice, so a practice that has already had bonus credit from another teckel offer does not get it twice. You earn commission on the practice’s tc purchases for three years from the day its code is accepted, whether or not the window was open: 10% in the first year, 5% in the second and 2.5% in the third.

For associations and member bodies

Some organisations would rather not be paid at all. Take a code, give it only to your members, and their benefit is the same 20% bonus credit while the window is open — a member perk that costs you nothing and pays you nothing. Tell us which you want when you apply.

The details, plainly

• Commission is paid on real purchases of teckel credits, whether made in the App or wherever else teckel sells them, on what teckel actually receives: after VAT and any app-store or card fees, and net of refunds. Free credit and the bonus itself never count.
• The practice’s bonus is never taken out of your commission, and your commission never comes out of the practice’s pocket: both come from teckel.
• While teckel is not registered for VAT, our rates are the whole of what we pay: we charge no VAT and add none. If you are VAT-registered, the VAT you must account for is part of that amount, and you send us an invoice for each statement; the statement itself is not a VAT invoice. Once teckel registers, VAT-registered affiliates add VAT to their invoice and we pay it on top.
• Within 20 working days of the end of each calendar quarter we send you a statement. It lists your referred practices by name or by a reference, with the date and amount of each purchase your commission covers. We pay by PayPal within 30 days, to a PayPal account in your name, from teckel’s PayPal account or from that of Risk Logical Limited, which handles payments for teckel. The statement says which. The minimum payout is £50; anything smaller carries forward to the next quarter.
• Your statements identify your practices: keep them confidential and use them only to check your commission.
• These are our launch figures. We can change the rates, the three-year period and the minimum payout, always with 30 days’ notice by e-mail, and every practice already signed up with your code keeps the rates and the three years it started with.
• Your code can carry an expiry date. When it expires no new practice can use it, but every practice already signed up with it keeps its full schedule.
• You never see or touch a practice’s records, account or credentials. The practice owns its Benedict; you introduced it.
• One code per affiliate. Codes are letters and numbers, up to 40 characters — tell us the one you would like and we will confirm it is free.
• The agreement runs for a year and renews each year. Either of us can end it at any time with 30 days’ notice. If it ends that way, you keep earning on the practices you have already introduced for the rest of their three years.
• The programme is single-tier. You earn only on the practices you introduce, never on recruiting other affiliates.
• The agreement is governed by Isle of Man law, and a claim against teckel is heard in the Isle of Man courts. For claims up to £10,000, the court’s small-claims procedure is designed to be used without a lawyer.
• Benedict is pay-as-you-go: no subscription, no per-seat licence, no sign-up fee, so there is nothing you have to sell. Point people at the walkthrough on How It Works and let them try it for a few pounds.
